Review Captain America and more

So with that out of the way, I shall start my review of the new Captain America film. I went a few days ago, so everything may not be accurate, I may have forgotten woops- Anyway. I thought Captain America The Winter Soldier was a well made movie. It was pretty good, though I do have some points of criticism. I knew a bit af the story up front, about how Bucky is the Winter Soldier and he doesn't know what he's doing and later he does, yadda yadda. The story could've been used better. The only thing Bucky actually remembers in this movie is Captain America himself, Steve Rogers. There is not a moment in the movie where you can actually see him regret his actions. Maybe they'll exploit this further in a different movie, maybe they won't, I just wish they did it in this movie. Another point was Fury's 'death'. I didn't mourn or miss him for a moment, because I knew they would bring him back, they simply wouldn;t kill him of this easy. 

I did like the twist at the end, the Apocalypse twins. So far, nobody I spoke to who has read comics avidly, recognized their name. It's nice to see obscure heroes and villians take the stage.

Overall it was a good superhero movie and I am excited to see the other Marvel films about to come out.

I give Captain America a 8/10.

Yesterday I won the pub quiz at the bar close to our school. Basically after every big event or long day, all the student of The Hague University of Applied Sciences go to that bar. Last time they hosted the quiz, my team and I got second place, and we vowed to do beter next time. And we actually did! We won a pingpongset that you can put on any surface as long as you can make the suction cups stick, and a pitcher of beer. It ended relatively early, and since I had a important event the day after, I went home. 

So! As I am writing this, I'm enjoying a nice drink as I just came home from that important event. We had to make a presentation about whether or not a certain company should by another business. Not much special and quite easy, it was over soon. We had preliminary rounds, and my team came second place in our round. Not bad, because we honestly thought we sucked.
